The Bullet Valve® (BV) represents yet another evolution in air valve technology from MAC. The Bullet Valve utilizes “lifting” solenoid technology. The MAC “lifting” configuration is unique, however, in that the valve maintains a balanced design – a signature feature of a MAC valve – shifting forces are consistently high and response times are repeatable regardless of inlet pressure fluctuations. 2-way and 3-way configurations of the BV cartridge (9mm, 10mm, 14mm, and 21mm) are available.
Liquid Bullet Valves®
The Liquid Bullet Valve® (LBV) is the latest design innovation from MAC. With fast response times, reliable shifting forces and repeatable results – due to its patented balanced design – the MAC LBV is ideal for applications that demand reliable, low-leak performance. The LBV performs with both gas and liquid, and is engineered to perform at the highest level throughout its life. The MAC LBV employs D-Flex™ technology to provide an exceptionally tight seal; preventing leakage and saving you product and money. D-Flex™ technology also allows the LBV to last longer and perform stronger in the toughest applications. With fewer wear points than traditional valve technology the LBV is designed to last.
Proportional Flow Control Valves
Built around the MAC Liquid Bullet Valve® (LBV) the Proportional Flow Controllers leverage stepper motor technology to provide high precision, accurate response times and a low hysteresis with high repeatability and low leak performance for a wide range of gases and liquids. Proportional Flow
Control enables the precise variation of gas or liquid flow rate based on the corresponding adjustment of an electrical control signal.
The MAC patented Pulse Valve series was developed to replace current diaphragm style technology and create a more robust and reliable valve solution in industrial applications. MAC Pulse Valves are ideal to replace existing diaphragm technology in applications such as reverse jet bag houses and dust collectors, pneumatic conveying and bulk material handling.
Solenoid Operated 3 Way Air Valves
Valves with 3 ports; inlet, outlet (cylinder) and exhaust. They are generally used to operate spring return cylinders or as pilots for larger diaphragm or piston operated valves.
Solenoid Operated 4 Way Air Valves
Valves with 4 ports; inlet, a common exhaust and two cylinder ports, one normally open and the other normally closed. Their common application is to operate double acting cylinders.
Proportional Pressure Controllers
The MAC Proportional Pressure Controller (PPC) is an innovative product which converts an electrical signal into a proportional pneumatic output. Incorporating a closed loop electronic control circuit, feedback is obtained from one or two transducers. The balanced poppet, fast response and high flow of the two integral MAC Valves provide outstanding performance characteristics for the PPC.
The PPC controls output pressure by constantly measuring its downstream pressure and comparing it to the command signal. If a higher pressure is demanded the PPC quickly responds by actuating the MAC fill valve, increasing the output pressure until it is equal to the pressure represented by the command signal. Conversely, if a lower pressure is required, the PPC will energize the MAC exhaust valve, decreasing the output pressure until the correct pressure is achieved. All of this happens very quickly to smoothly maintain the correct pressure.
